Blankenship Family!: Dylan is 6 Months Old!

How have 6 months already gone by since I held you for the first time?

You are my joy, Dylan!

Sleep: D man is still sleeping 11-12 hours a night. So glad to be getting full nights of sleep now. He is doing fantastic with his sleep. He is not a big napper... he will take 2-3 naps a day. The longest nap he has ever taken is 1.5 hours. He usually naps for 30 minutes to an hour at most. So different from Owen...

Size: He is still wearing 6 month clothes right now. Some things are getting a little tight. I brought out his 9 month box of clothes and I will start switching out the 6 month stuff here pretty soon.

Special Visits: We've done a few play dates this month to get the boys out of the house. We went to Ashburn to visit my friend with the twins. Both boys has a blast! We also went over to my neighbor's house one day. Her son is more Owen's age, so Owen had a blast playing with all the new toys.

Firsts: D is crawling and moving all over the place. He hasn't quite mastered the crawl with all the limbs at one time. Right now he is scooting all over the place pushing with his legs and pulling with his arms. Like a modified army crawl.

I leave him alone for one minute to wash some dishes and he has wedged himself under the entertainment center!

We have been trying all different kinds of new foods, all homemade. He LOVES yams. I think those are his favorite so far. He hasn't disliked anything. Looks like he will be a really good eater.

Likes: Just like his brother and his Daddy, he loves the guitar.
